Hello Jestine, how does the NTE or ECG system work. Example I need a KTC3198 transtorsi and a STP5NC50FP power amp. Where do I buy a replacement, or how do I order the part replacement. Is there an official website for NTE. Whick is the best website in the USA to order these parts? All right repair is nice, now getting parts or understanding how to order is not so easy for me.
I live in Belize Central America, so I go to this site http://www.nteinc.com/ which says they are NTE then when I contact the distributor from Guatemals ( lcanela@bellsouth,net )which is closer to us by email. They say it is a fraud, and that they are not a distributor.

A) ECG no longer in the market because it have been taken over by NTC

A)For these parts we got to find out from the list of electronic suppliers here:
https://www.jestineyong.com/?cat=12. Sometimes for the Korean part number that start with KTC then the part could be C3198 or 2SC3198.

All right repair is nice, now getting parts or understanding how to order is not so easy for me.
A)In fact this is a problem facing by many electronic repairers. Equipment that does not have parts to back up, making us has a hard time in solving the problem. Found the fault but no spare parts. Due to this sometimes I have to keep junk boards and buy over customer beyond repair equipment so that I could salvage the board. Some technicians would buy used equipment from ebay.com just to salvage the working parts/boards.
