In these type of job in major case i found ripped off pads which make our job so tedious & you can not do it without microscope,but you are lucky here.

Good job! As long as the tracks in the multilayer motherboard are not damaged repair is still possible. In the past those dc power jack chassis mounts were also successfully removed with my soldering iron and enough solder and flux. Using too little solder and flux never works because the old solder needs to liquefy fast to make a quick removal of the chassis power jack possible.

Parasuraman: thanks man. yes indeed because a lot of people has no idea how to reove such charging ports and end out burning the board or make it a little bit harder to fix. in may case it was not that bad. have a blessed day.
