Albert: yes, the quality of the picture in this camera is amazing and so complicated to take apart. if I get this camera again in my shop, I would not even look at the service manual any more because I know how to do it and that is the most beautiful thing ever. have a blessed day

Although it is a discontinued product it already is a modern digital camera opposed to the even older analogue cameras that preceded these. Hence the modern USB connectors. Good thing that you found a service manual to easily take apart the right screws in the right sequence, and how to put everything back again afterwards.
