Imoudu: it was an easy task to do in less than five minutes.
when the laptop power led blinking (you mean the charging LED)? check the insided charging port and see if enough voltage is going through and if yes then check the battery voltage to see if it is charging or not? randomlly check power supplies on the mother board and make sure you have the other voltages present.check for mosfets shorted on the main power rail.
