A great way to provide local service to such important and no doubt expensive devices. And to make a name for your service providing firm to fix these particular machines. But a bad way for the manufacturer to do business this way. Maybe the board in the foot paddle should be varnished to protect it from moisture problems like the boards are varnished in washingmachines?
