Tanabalan: thanks . what SMD IC? I did not change any of that. usually if SMD ic involved it is very easy to replace with heat station and flux. have a good day

Strange that of the 1.414 x 234 AC voltage only 200V remained. (Max DC voltage after rectification over the capacitor should be around 330.8 VDC. In my home I measured 234VAC on my power lines). I guess it overheated the capacitor after it deteriorated.
