Thanks for the article, Waleed. One of my nephews washed his tv remote with his clothes in the washing machine. I took it apart and dried it up and it works great. I can't believe that the batteries didn't short out, but they checked out ok.

Hi Hem,

I have not repair such fault in fluke scopemeter. Perhaps you may need to refer back to fluke service center. If you need to repair your own then you may have to take risk as LCD backlight is very fragile. Check from the backlight source to see where the power from. It could be a weak backlight or bad corresponding component.

How to fix backlight problem in Scopemeter Fluke 97.All function working correctly but when i press LCD button backlight not ON .Contrast work,all reading on screen dim.
