I also have an error code e1 on my treadmill. I measured the resistance of the motor and got about 2 ohms. Is this normal? If I do not connect the motor, the voltage increases to 180 VDC. When connecting the motor I measure 0 VDC. Could this also be the capacitor and/or IGBT that is broken? Thank you in advance for your reply back.

Albert: thanks man. I am always careful and usually wear gloves but due to the covid 19 situation not more gloves available and if found usually expensive. I usually wash my hands after the repair. thanks for sharing your concern. have a blessed day
