A Visit To Perodua Car Maker Plant

Perodua is one of my country car manufacturer and their plant is located in Bukit Beruntung and is about 35 minutes drive from my company. Perodua have manufactured many models of cars for the local market and their latest one was Perodua Nautika .

 

The reason me and my partner went there is to meet up their maintenance manager to discuss about the technical courses that they are interested in. Before going into the plant we are required to wear a safety helmet and the person in charge told me that no camera is allowed to take picture in the plant. Otherwise i would have show you some of the good photos. The photos below was taken from outside the plant at the parking area.

 

When we were in the maintenance office i was given an electronic board where they called it as sub unit for a control equipment and wanted to know whether I’m able to guide their staff base on the boards. I told them that i could guide them to check the board and they were very happy.

Overall the discussion went smoothly and they most probably will be sending 6 of their staff for training in this coming October. Not only that, i was instructed to provide more courses (Intermediate and Advanced Level) to their staff to become professional in repairing and troubleshooting few types of electronic boards. By the way i hope that i could complete my fourth book by end of September (completed only 70%) since at this moment there is no class for the month of September.

   Hi Mr. Yestine,

   I'm doing marketing for your course in my company (iknowledge) next month 25, 26, 27 March. Would like to ask, if i want to target Automotive industries: i.e: Perodua, Proton, which is department handling electronics troubleshooting called?

   Hi Nancy,

   Normally we just refer to those department as technical department or to be more precise you can check out with Mr Lim as he is the one who brought us to the Perodua factory.

   I am a engineering student from UKM. I am the class representative to organize an industrial visit in order to accomplish our course assignment that required to write a tachnical report about measurement and instrumentation. If we are interested to visit the Perodua Car Maker plant, who shall we contact.. Or.. Do u have any contact number for us to contact the Perodua..

   Hi Kien Ho,

   The reason i was in Perodua because there's a company (I knowldege) that introduce my company to Perodua for trainig purposes. All contact was done by I knowledge and we are not suppose to have contact with Perodua (client of I knowledge). I suggest that you call Perodua to ask for the one who is in charge of the industrial training.
