Parasuraman: thanks man. it did not make sense to me that it was on but the voltages were not so when tracing the voltage reading I found that broken trace. thanks for your comments and I have a blessed day

Although you are always capable in fixing the even most damaged welding machines it in this case becomes sadly a bit dull to read about it. Especially when like in this given example no real electronic damaged or replaced part with datasheet was given.
