Possible the eeprom ic have problem. Make sure the ic is receiving a good dc supply voltage.

Hi Anoop,

If your tv screen is black and white picture try replace the baseband delay line IC. Once common part number is the TDA4665.

Since this is an old machine i suggest that you make sure the output voltages from the SMPS are good and no bad e-caps. A bad filter could cause many types of problem in VCR.

just wanna ask your opinion on my National VCR model NV-370 (manufactured circa 1986) it can play VHS tape very well despite of its age (almost 26 years old), but about 1-2 weeks ago it started to make problems on color (during playback; in black and white) and its motor (which is running the tape) is sometimes gone crazy as it spin up the tape intermittently during playback..this prob started after i attempted to record a movie from my DVD player (FYI,the Rec function never been used before) .. what i need to fix? it is still possible to fix it as i heard rumors that Panasonic dont have any spare parts for this model anymore..i'm so worried abt it..hope you can help me..tq
