Arranging this types of parts is also a big challenge.I left so many repair jobs because of unavailability of spares and if available it was not economical as compare to price of the equipment.

Thanks for the datasheet and the interesting repair! That you already found the right equivalent DIL8 chip plenty ready in your store is a small miracle. You must have a lot of parts in stock. Searching for this BK5K18 10 Watt audio amplifier indeed gives the HT8693 as equivalent- click here:
Never new this chip existed. Often the DIL8 stereo types like the TDA 7050 or the TDA2822 are only 1 Watt. And the famous LM386 mono amplifier is also just 125 mW in output power.
