AOC LCD Monitor Panel Broken

By on February 2, 2012

broken lcd panel

One of my customers sent in 7 units of LCD Monitors and he was in a rush and did not tell me the problem. When i tested the AOC lcd monitor i found that the panel is already broken. I’m sure this is the complaint for the monitor. Since the panel already broken and i do not have spare parts i just put it aside and repair others. For those that have not seen a broken LCD panel before then see the photo below. It was a close shot and from the photo it seems that this monitor had been hit by a hard object. The monitor outer casing looks new so i did not suspect it to drop on the floor. In this case, most probably i will ask my customer to sell the monitor to me so that i could salvage the good parts in it.

some one brought me an lcd tv to be repaired but when he moved it to my shop from his car, I noticed that the screen was broken but when I told him about the broken screen, he told me that he did not know it was broken..well, it is a big tv and I could see the broken panel very clearly..some customes they look for free things. see, if I did not see that it was broken and I did not tell the customers, the customers will assum that I broke it and he demands money for it. that is why my policy is to check the fault while the custmore there..just to make sure we are on the same agreement.

    HI Waleed,

You are right one always have to check first from the customer otherwise they could accuse you of spoiling the set.
