I have a 65 inch Sony TV model KD-65X9000C very thin panel. It suddenly stopped working and Four red flashes started blinking. I took it to Sony service centre and they checked.After checking they said the main board was ok but the fault was with panel and it couldnt be repaired only replaced. I asked them to check the backlight LEDs but they said that they are sealed and working properly.
Can you guide me as panel replacement very expensive.Any other method to activate the panel. Now when I power on the Tv it starts to try to load android but after 5 secs turns off and then starts red blinking.

Yes, fully aware of this. My friend handles panels on daily basis. He knows the trick. What I normally do is to lift the panel with all the sheets held together. That way, we can avoid heaving and sagging! I use soft hand gloves too!

A strips may have four LEDs and B strips may have around 5. There is variation in current consumption, as can be guessed. Manufactures use a combination of A & B or A alone on the top and bottom and B in the middle. This is to have the backlight load spread evenly to the driver. Hope this could be the answer. Perhaps experts in the forum could correct my understanding or provide better clarity!

This Types of screen are very delicate to handle.some of them are Paper led screens which may get crack on little jerk.I know some year back i received one 42" LED TV stating problem negative Picture effect on the screen i noticed screen was already cracked from one corner.customer admitted that was done by him while cleaning the screen. Authorized service center gave him repair estimate of Panel replace is near by 80% cost of new TV. so he bring this TV to me if i can fix this problem..so i opened this TV on my desk...
while opening i just missed my balance and TV screen was got cracked horribly from top to bottom diagonally.thanks to god this thing is done in front of that customer.he was also unbalanced because he was holding the TV.

Best way to open this type of screen is your Floor area or a flat surface bigger than your TV Size and always use Heavy Duty Suction silicone Cup Tool for handling any types of panel.
