Hi Beh, you can use a standard led diode with a 1k resistor in series.
With this you have covered the input voltage from 5V to over 15V.
the led will probably lit smaller on a 5V source but it's ok.

yes it is very good suggestion to use LED in this project but i do not know what kind of LED and resistor must be installed in the circuit(voltage of led and resistance of resistor) i will thankful of you if you help me to build this one and i am sure this will be more useful for all .
i have to mention that also i always enjoyed of your very clear and useful articles

Mr. Beh, thanks to share your experience with as, I appreciate your article and hope you write more.
I will suggest you to build a simple LED probe. Put a 1k resistor in series with the LED and replace your bulb in your fuse tester with that LED + resistor.
With this equipment you can check the fuses and all the stuff around the car, even the ECU pins too, without to worry to blow-up some circuit.
And remember what others say about the AMPERAGE and VOLTAGE!!!
Please, take care with this two thinks, this can harm and kill!
