When I run into problems like this, the short is generally present on multiple components, scattered across the board and often, there is no burn mark to indicate which is actually shorted. How did you narrow it down to that one capacitor without having to remove every component affected? Thanks. Very much appreciate your posts. I've learned a lot from you!

Albert, I was having similar problems using my Supereyes microscope until I switched it from a USB 3.0 port to a USB 2.0 port

Microscopes are very important in our field of work. I bought mine from Amscope about four years ago and recently I ordered a HDMI camera that sits on top of the lens that can be connected to a big screen. that way I do not have to strain my eyes all the time. it is worth it although very expensive but helped me in many ways especially I deal with iphone board repair and it comes very handy. good job in the repair and thanks for sharing. have a blessed day
