Albert: yes they are and were hard to find. good thing I found them online and finished the repair. yes, two pins for charging and others for feedback to tell the cpu that the charging is done and the light will stop flashing. have a blessed day

These female microUSB charger input jacks indeed are easily damaged. Soldering the 5 pins back to the board is likely the hardest part. Although for charging probably only the 2 outer pins are used to provide the 5V DC voltage. I also bought complete sets of different microUSB female 'ports'. And recently used 2 of those microUSB input jacks to make a couple of Jim Williams avalanche pulse generators.
