It was brought to me in dead condition. When I opened and checked up, I saw the 105/250V Fixed Capacitor burst in the primary section. It was found short too! So, replaced it with a 105/450V Cap.

Then checked for any more damages and did not find any. Applied power, found FAN working well and checked the voltages, which were found to be normal.

Closed the case with satisfaction getting added to its bag!

Note: I am giving only snaps of two voltages just for reference. All other voltages such as 3.3 and -12 were also found to be ok. As I had already covered the full pictures of the internal in my previous article, I am skipping these too here!

    A bad cap that was replaced after a quick and fast diagnose! It is always a good vibe when another bad power supply gets fixed!

    What a fast one!!.This time not many caps retired.Bye the way would you like to share with us the method you use to desolder and remove ic with many pins from board as you did to that ic of 12pins of induction cooker of 28/1/21.

      I applied liquid solder flux on both sides of the IC. Then I used my high temperature soldering iron, heated both sides one after the other in quick successions and applied slight pressure with a tweezer in place. The IC came off quickly.
