Hello Jestine,
I am having trouble locating a replacement for a smps chopper. the number is BCK-35-0135. Do you know any supplier that specialize in these types of transformer. I saw that it is made in Shenzen China.

Hi JORGE,
Since smps transformer was designed to have its own winding and part number, it is difficult to locate the part. By the way how do you know the transformer have problem?

Well I wanted to still get one as replacement. I checked a CRT Tv that was hit by lightening, this is the one I had told you about. Well the Blue meter came in from John and it only has 3 rings when I test it out of circuit. Also no secondary voltage. I wanted to check ring of a new transformer against this one to know the limits of the Blue Ring Tester.
I am still awaiting the 100mhz Oscilliscope, to check the signal on the pins of the Mosfet.
I am also awaiting the SMPS ebook, hope by the time the oscilloscope is here the ebook is ready.
Bad news this is the only test I did which was out of circuit. But when I put on the Blue Ring Tester again, all lights came on. It is not working, battery is good, so I guess I have to buy a new one.

HI Jorge,
The 3 led bar could be marginal and it depend on the size of the transformer.Generally the bigger the transformer , the higher the LED can go.Have you check out all components in the primary side and also the optoisolator circuit? Direct replace the power IC and retest. My ebook will be out when I'm back from holiday in the early of December.
