In my earlier on reply there is 817 and 413, it should actually be 431 instead of 413. I meant to identify the smps optocoupler and its associated transistor, respectively. Ooooh ! However I always solder the connections after I twist the wires together and I never had a problem with going bad again. I have a hight rate success in fixing these connectors..of course the two wires connected together have to be stripped of their coating otherwise the soldering will not be effective. Perhaps, Yogesh, but repairing any component that was subjected to voltaic arc that caused a destructive tracking is practically impossible. The materials become degraded and there is nothing to do in these cases. Thanks for your observations.
