Glad to hear that the heater element in these machines was not rusted through Imoudu. But probably good to know is that my now replaced by a Samsung washing machine AEG Lavamat 625 probably got leaking water from the drum onto the heater element after using it at high temperatures of max 95 degrees Celsius. Which they said was to clean the machine from old soap residue but slowly deteriorated the sealing rubbers on the drum. My new Samsung can not and does not use such high temperatures anymore.
Also good to know is that my Samsung washing machine ,that also has Wifi to my Smartphone with a Samsung Android App, always uses about 2Watt to keep the Wifi signal active even after the machine is completely switched off! That power dissipation only switches off after we delete the active app on the smartphone because by stupid design there is no other way to stop the active Wifi circuit in a Samsung wasmachine! Why I completely removed this useless Samsung App from my Smartphone!
