Completed The LCD Monitor Repair Course

By on February 18, 2009

Just completed the three days LCD Monitor Repair course for a 55 year old participant that have a very keen interest in electronic repair. He have many years of experience in electronics since back in the 70’s but somehow have not expose to this LCD Monitor repair. Thus he decided to take up the course after found the repair course from my website. For your information my website brought in about  90 % of students. If you haven’t got one then plan to get one soon to promote your company or business to the world. He also bought the Blue Ring Tester and Blue ESR meter to help out in the electronic repair work.

Although at this age, not only he did not show any sign of slowing down, infact he also have some other plan too like wants to learn how to build website, fix LCD and Plasma Television and etc. Throughout the three days i found that the fire in him about electronics repair is still burning flame and his manner was excellent! I hope that he will continue to practice after the course and i also told him to come and see me just in case if he have any LCD Monitor that he could not solve. Here are the photos taken during the 3 days LCD Monitor Repair course:

Hi Jestine i live in Africa where we have no credit cards, how do i get hold of your books. Secondly can i have the details and costs of the 3 day training if one wants to come down physically. 3rdly what is the affilliation package?
Our programme is to encourage women into technology and i thought your book may be a lot simpler and motivating comapared to nervouseness of women, fear of technology conquering. What other means can i get this book as quickly as possible. is it quicker to post it in UK where my sister lives? Advice and thank you for such brilliant worker. is it available in the bookshops?

    Hi Elizabeth,
The 3 days training cost can be found in this website http://www.noahtec.com/workshop.htm and the price listed there does not include the accommodation. The book that i'm having is actually an ebook. That means once you have made a payment you will get the download link and you can save it into your computer. You then can read from the screen or print it out and bind it as a book. If you have other questions please do email me again-thanks!

    Hello Jestine,

I saw your website and my interest in electronics repair is more activated. My bad experience in electronics repair school in our place discouraged my interest in electronics repair. I've tried looking for books about practical electronics repair but I found nothing, they are more on theoretical aspects.

I have computer business and lots of monitors, motherboard of computers, their power supply and some avr went bad. All of them are kept in the storage room. I want to fix them all by myself. And when I've have enough experience repairing them through learning from you, my plan is to put up electronic repair on LCD or CRT monitor and even plasma or LCD repair, in the future. Right now I keep on reading some practical electronics books almost everyday to boost my knowledge but they are not specialty book like a book especially dedicated to power supply repair, lcd monitor repair, etc.

I already finished basic electronic course in a school, planning to enroll for next module like monitor repair. But the distance of travelling and financial constraints limits my budget and time to go to that school every weekend, and besides I have a work at home that's hard for me to leave. I have keen interest in going into your place to enroll in person but financial problem limits me to go out of the country.

My question is, do you think I'm able to be a competent electronics repair man by merely reading your books and apply it by myself alone, independently? I want to start from the basic through your ebooks, I want to have a tough foundation on the basics before going to the complicated one of your course. But my real target, the real thing I want to learn in your course are in the following order are: 1. Repair SMPS power supply of Computers, monitors and other devices; 2. Repair CRT Monitor and LCD Monitor.

Right now, I'm also repairing desktop computers through software and hardware parts BUT NOT as deep as going through repairing the electronics components. That's what I want to learn from you.

My question is, can you please suggest me the first ebooks I need to purchase from you? I don't have a credit card and I don't want to use a credit card either 😉 What other way can I send my payment? Can I pay through Western Union? Any suggestion?

    Hello
I would like to learn to repair on lcd monitor as for my part time job. So, can you tell me more about where I can start to learn before repair the lcd monitor. I have the sony monitor that is not working right. The model is SDM-S81R. I would like to learn to repair on this monitor. I looked at the power supply and no sign of burned. It wont turn it on. I have ordered the service manual from someone but not enough information with schematic but diagram. thanks for your time and enjoy your day. I live in Denver Colorado, USA.

    HI Bruce,

I suggest that you get the ebook http://www.lcd-monitor-repair.com to jump start on the repair. Before that you must make sure you know how to test electronic components. When a monitor can't be turned on it can be either the mainboard or the power supply problem. make sure the power supply have output voltages. If no output voltages then i suggest that you check all the components in the power supply section.
