Thank you for sharing the solution ,,,Do you have a list of repair in the last 12 months tabulated on one column are the symptoms and another column are the causes of faults and of course the next column is for the type of equipment , model no and probably serial number.....would be very good to share to the repair communty.

The title was a bit misleading as the cpu is a chip, ie the microprocessor, whereas, you were talking about the base unit as a whole unit not starting up.
I was expecting an article about the microprocessor (cpu)

I have a Dell that started crashing, but all the capacitors looked good. Ended up putting a little silicone oil on the CPU pins, and the problem never returned.

Good fix Palanisamy! Those e-caps keep on bulging or creating problems. it is about time they replace these old ones with new formulas.
