Good day engr jestinyong, I'm Joseph from Lagos Nigeria. I have 29" crt tv. The picture is not full by the left and right side top.i have changed the complete tv panel board but still same problem, please guard me.

Hi Abdu,

I'm fine thanks. In your case you need to check if there is any hairline cracks. Power blinking can be due to many reasons. I suggest thhat you make sure the power supply produce good and stable output first before check on other parts. No picture can be due to the flyback not energized or even broken picture tube.

how R U? am from Ethiopia my question is I have Samsung 21 Crt tv unfortunately after the drops down of the tv is not able to deliver sound and picture except blinking of starting power but the screen is still black. I open the cover but nothing is broken. so what i shall do to fix this problem and what you advice me as a technician?

Hi, my crt tv samsung is a litle stretched on the sides, when im playng retrogames, as the object goes moves from the center to the left or right it stretchs, it can be solved on sercice menu? How can i fid this? Thank.

i have a an old crt computer monitor that switches on shows a "no signal video cable connected" message then it goes back to sleep /idle as if its vga cable is not connected to anything even though it is ,its OSD don't show up when i click the menu button during that brief message,the monitor was fried trough its vga cable by a faulty computer psu that also fried another LCD that someone fixed for me

Hi Teddy,

The screen problem might be due to lack of B+ voltage, dry joint or bad components in the horizontal linearity circuit. The sound could mean the flyback have problem.

Hi Sajjad,

It could be missing heater voltage, too low the G2 voltage, G1 voltage could be improper, no high voltage, bad Video pre-amp IC and etc.
