Don’t Go Too Fast
This post is an advice for beginners so that they would not go too fast in learning electronic repair otherwise at the end they might be at the loosing stage. Why do i say that? It is because I’ve seen beginners that went so fast and eagerly to learn equipment repair without knowing how to properly test the basic electronic components. They have neglected the most simple and yet important knowledge which is the testing electronic components. They are more interest in finding out the equipment faults, how they work without realizing it that in order for any successful electronic repair one Must and always MUST be good in testing electronic components first.
There is no point of finding out the faulty section in a CRT Monitor if you do not really know how to test a transistor or even a capacitor. Time will be wasted trying out to find the faulty component. Imagine if you are good in testing electronic components, you can easily find out the bad components in a very short time assuming if you have confirmed that the particular section have problem. If you fall into this category of wanting to learn to repair fast without really knowing how to test components then i suggest that you reconsider again as this might be a turning point for you. Just look at the professional electronic repairers, i can say that all of them are Good and i mean very good in testing electronic components. Once you are good in testing electronic components then only you have the confident in finding out bad components fast from the faulty electronic board or equipment. Happy Testing!
