Wow,you may not believe this. About a month ago,I bought a cd/dvd player from a big computer store,call MicroCenter in Cambridge ,Massachusetts.It was a brand new unit,but the price wasn't bad,it costed me $25 for that player.The player was working great after seeing some dvd movies.When I don't see any movies at the time,I don't unplug the ac power line to keep the player off.The player's ac power plug is on the wall's power socket all the time with the led display "on" with the player in "off" position which is normal. After a few days while the player warm up,all of sudden,a door open up with a tray pop out for no reason! What could this be? Once in awhile it happen again! I may want to take it apart and find out what may cause the tray to pop out. I may want to freeze the right component to stop this problem and change that component!Another way to check it out, I may want use a infrared thermometer to see a temperature change. Did you know that I used a Huntron scope long ago when I worked at some companies? That a useful tool to check for weak components.Ciao!That mean,"goodbye" in a Italian.
