HI Joseph,

Happy New Year! No raster could be cause by no high voltage or even no G2 voltage. The flyback must produce high voltage in order to generate the G2 voltage of about 250 to 300 VDC.

Jestine,
HP f1903 LCD Monitor. I am referring to the post by Paul about the Foxconn 19.1823.01 Back Light board on an HP f1903 LCD monitor. My monitor went all black last night. I found a cold solder joint on the rectangular shaped capacitor between the two C57076 transistors, re-soldered it back to the board. Put the monitor back together and when I cycled the power to the monitor I was able to view the desktop screen only for a moment before it went back to black again. Upon reading the post by Paul on your web site I bent back a transistor and then noticed leakage from one C5706, looks like the loose capacitor took out that transistor. The Foxconn board appears to have twin power supplies and it will not operate with one damaged. I went to bluestar-online.com to order 4 but it was over $22.00 after minimum order price and shipping, so, I found them on eBay for $1.00 each and $4.98 shipping, used Buy It Now, THANK YOU for the information on your web site, it saved me from having to buy another monitor.
