It can be the LM1279N or driver ic. Check also for the signal cable and make sure no broken wires.

It can be one of the backlight have problem. Make sure there is supply voltage to the inverter ICS eventhough it already shutdown.

First you need to make sure the cpu is receiving good voltage. Then check that the crystal have sinewave. Is the output voltages from the Main SMPS good?

When I switch on , Standby supply indicator red is on and then turn to green shortly and then red again automatically .
Remote control then fail to operate it.

I need some general working principles on the IR unit over the supply and any specific area that i need to examine.

I have the circuit and only analogue VOM at hand.

If the resistor goes to the vertical IC then you must replace the verticaL IC too.

I have problem with my Television. The picture is bigger than actual screen.
I Had check board and I found resistor burning near Vertical IC. I had replaced it by new one and then burning again .
So please give me what is your opinion about this case
