Kalau 5 volt stabil, maka masalahnnya berkemungkinan kat mainboard (memory ic korup) ataupun main power supply ada masalah.

hello justine.. im nazri from miri sarawak. saya repair jenis tv lcd... dekat power supply board reading kat dmm saya sekejap betul dan sekejap tak betul.. contoh dekat pin 12 v sekejap 12v dan sekejap turun below 12v tapi lepas tu naik lagi 12v dan turun lagi 12v. apa problem sia tuan?

Try search VGA connector wikipedia and you will see the pin out configuration of VGA connector.

Dear Mr.justin,

could you plz help me in repair of a lg crt tv 29" marquis,I opened the set at customers place and found that the H o t (st2310hi) was short and replaced it immediately,after replacing also set was not out from stand by then i found a transistor besides this (kd2059y436) was also short and a resistor may be 10ohms was burnt could you plz guide me through so that i can repair the set easily and efficiently.i just only think that the set which i have repaired should not be repeated much earlier,

plz guide me through this case.waiting fr your reply.

Noted Jestine, better safe than sorry.

Yesterday, the panasonic guys came and replaced something called 'p-board'. They told me one of the chip was slightly damaged due to a probable power surge. Lucky for me the warranty thingy went smoothly & my tv is ok. But, no news yet about the dvd player.

HI Nazri,

Since my house Tv 29" was hit by lightning before i always unplug it from the socket wall. The TV was beyond repair because it was badly damaged. Even my computer network card also kaput. My neighbor had his telephone, TV, Astro all burnt up!

Hi Jestine,

Yes, I've tried both on other sockets but still dead. I've send the player to the dealer and currently waiting for their findings. The panasonic agent will come to my house since they are not open on weekends. I do not sure because I was in the office but maybe there was lightning since it was raining the whole day.

I just keep my finger crossed at the moment since the warranties do not cover lightning. What I do now is to make sure I unplugged all the tv when I'm not around and already use a separate extension for the house alarm.
