Hi Yogesh, Good post on printer service. If carriage goes and hits itself in the either end then it is definitely a encoder problem. But the problem is that it cannot be changed by the customers because the disc is located in an position where it is difficult to pull it out and fix the new one. So always better to go through the printer service center.

Dear Sir,
My printer, Epson XP 410, can not print and i do not know if it can receive data but the print dialog box always shows printing in progress. It even instructed that I should change ink but after I changed the inks the problem is still persistence. The driver is overwritten and I do not know how to obtain an authentic driver for the printer. I have also brought two Hp printers and the drivers are not compatible with my windows and when I try it with my windows XP compatible system It does not work. I think I am frustrated and I can visit any certified service store because there is practically none that is available

I know that many people have and use Laserprinters but they also have their big problems. Like when you place 2 pages with their ink tonersides on top of each other and check out some years later how they look. Often the pages are glued together by the toner that was put on the paper at about 80 degrees Celsius by the Laserunit. And the toner itself is very bad for the environment and our health. And therefore you also need a special toner vacuum cleaner. And they often stink because they produce O_3 (ozon) which is unhealty to. (Only some new Laserprinters produce O_2 instead of ozone which is good). But we still do not know half of the damage done by nanoparticles and emissions of particulate matter. Like toner. Cheers.
