I am an old man and have always liked electronics and repairs. Like most of the nice good people who offer articles and encouragement I like to repair items discarded by other people. Unfortunately I never tried to take this profession really seriously although i studied and obtained very high marks in City & Guilds exams. Now I am slowly building a small workshop with non professional equipment so that I may pursue my hobby although I am quite ill. I do not wish to buy expensive equipment, and here in Malta it is very difficult to obtain second hand equipment at reasonable cost.
Any way my heartfelt thanks to all contributors and Mr Yong for all their kindness and encouragement.
