yes this is a shottkey diode with 5 leg and for sure is not one diodethis is several diodes in one package
this need the diagram of this chip to answer correctly

Hi Teody,

Since the charger already have problem there is no harm trying. Before that you have to make sure that the charger does not have any output. Open up the charger and begin to troubleshoot but make sure you know what you are doing because it involve live AC electricity.

i have a problem with my lenovo netbook charger ,I think it not working properly because my netbook works with the battery operated while it's not working when, I plug the socket of the charger to the wall outlet .May, I know it's
possible to repair the charger or its better to a new one? Thanks more power supports ...
