Hi Jhun,

Q) I have a Chimei LCD Monitor, one of the CCFL is already broken, so every time I turn it on, after 2 sec the backlight turn-off, but when attach a multimeter parallel to the broken CCFL the other CCFL turns on and does shutoff, I was wondering if there is anyway that I can bypass that other out of the inverter or attach a compoment, so that I dont need to change the Broken CCFL.

A) There is one way and i already documented it in my ebook http://www.lcd-monitor-repair.com.

========================

Q)Another question, are all CCFL have the same voltage, can I use the CCFL from my old 14″ LCD Monitor to 15″ Chimei?

A) You can use but the edge would be a little bit darker.

=========================

I hope you can answer my queries, this site is a very very helpful for newbies like me, Thanks and More Power to You Sir Jestine.

You are welcome
