Mandingo: yes you are right. it will either break from pressure or when it is dropped, it will break right away.

Thanks for the info Waleed ... it is important for the frame to be right ... otherwise it can put pressure on the screen and it will eventually become delaminated (after the repair) due to the un-even pressure on the edge of the screen.

Robert: yes, it is expensive but mine is more expensive since I got the whole set. I am talking about 350 dollars worth. but it works on different ipads, iphons, and tablets. it is worth having it.

Good job, Waleed. iFixit has that tool for $89.99 - pretty expensive. I haven't had much luck with using tape on the digitizers, and I had everything perfectly clean beforehand and also put the tablet in my press for a few hours. I think I'll use adhesive from now on.
