for Loosen rusty/Jammed parts i have applied WD40 for avoiding process of dismantlement of everything and in this process there is chance that armature is gets unbalanced/aligned.
& there is no use if applying Oil after applying WD40 Because WD40 will not allow freshly applied oil to stay.

I may used Lubricant oil if i dismantled the armature from the unit & first i cleaned it with wd40 then wiping with petrol & then final is oiling.

user is having its own salon & the equipment is in regular use it is almost 2 months without any problem.

I think using Transmission Oil will not frees mechanism which is already Jammed may be due to rust.oiling is done after you solve the cause of Jamming then clean the Job and applying Oil as a lubricant.
WD40 is never gets Gummy.i am using it regularly in mechanical parts in different jobs; one of it's good quality "it is Loosens Rusted Parts & frees sticky mechanisms" & it works.Depends on applications and Yes some time it worsen the Job like if you using it in Potentiometer it just wipes off carbon coating from the slider as per its nature & repaired Unit will definitely come back in short period.

SO please read Instructions for application given on WD40 Before applying.

In my case there is no hair found inside the equipment.it is neat from Inside even i did not found any dust particles inside.
