One of my happiest moments was fixing ten VCR's in one day! That was back in the 90's when VCR's were king.Ahh the good old days! Anyway, I enjoy your site. It still makes me feel good when I repair something be it an old tube radio or an led tv. I enjoy your site. Happy repairing!

Hello Mr. Jestine, I am very happy to have found on the search engines that your site is the repair of electronic equipment.
I also saw who also built the Ebook that address the repair of monitors, switching power supply ect. But I was a little disappointed that still has not made a Guda or Ebook format course dealing with the rifaparazione of LCD TVs, very topical and more in my opinion much more interesting
and more economically profitable from the point of repair.
I know that there are other Ebook facing this type of repair but since I
I have much more confidence in his preparation and skill wonder if in the future there are plans the idea of making his Ebook on repairing LCD TV.

Thanks for sharing. Even though already spent 5 days the experience that you have gained is still worth it. That's why when i conduct my repair course I found that many of the students like to hear about my true repair stories and the journey in electronics repair. And this kind of stories had inspired them.

Hi Jestine
My happiest moment was when I repaired my first TV. It was my neighbour's CRT 21" colour TV, the problem was that the vertical deflection would collapse to a single horizontal line after 5 minutes.
The problem was caused be a Zener diode that had become short, it obtained power from the 27 volt rail for the vertical IC and it dropped it to 8v for the IF circuit. When it shorted after heating up the 27 Volts for the Vertical IC would drop to about 16 volts.
It took me 5 days to find the problem but I was very happy when I managed to get it to work again!
My troubleshooting skills have now improved a lot from reading your articles. Thank you very much!
