Here are the photos taken from the Taiwan trip

By on November 28, 2011

Overall it was a fantastic trip because the people there were so polite and very helpful. The weather (19 Celcius) was perfect for walking, shopping and etc. The sceneries  were superb and the transportation route (Taipei main station) were well organized. Once you are in Taipei main station you could take MRT, High Speed Rail, normal train, buses or even taxis. You can visit all places in Taiwan from this main station. My family and I have visited Taipei 101 tower, Shilin night market, Xi Men Ding, Jiou fen, Taichung Electronics street, Danshui, Yang Ming Shan, Taipei main station underground mall, Taipei wholesale market, Etuoh (biggest tackle shop in Taiwan) and Ning Xia night market. I was told that Taiwan have lots of night market and almost everyday it is packed with people. Almost all the places have small food stall and you will never get hungry. In Taiwan you can eat and shop till you drop!

By the way, the Taichung Electronics Street do not have many electronics shop and i was informed that many of the shops have moved to NOVA complex in Taichung. Since i do not have extra time (due to the pack schedule) i have to leave Taichung back to Taipei. My wife sister and her family also loved this place and we have planned to visit Taiwan again perhaps to other places that we have not been like Miaoli, Alishan, Hualiean, Kaoshiung and etc. Here are just some of the photos taken during the 7 days trip to Taiwan:

    Hi beh,

Most of the shop are selling common test equipment and normal electronics accessories. Shenzhen China have more choices.

    Hi Baiju,

Besides sightseeing, i believe there are many things that can be found from this country but one has to do their homework. Since this trip is more on sightseeing (brought family members along) thus i did not concentrate on other type of field. Perhaps you may need to search for Taiwan Yellow pages to see what this country could offer.

    Dear Jestine,
Would you mind if I ask something?
My friend wants to buy some 50-100 pieces of mobile phone. What country/city would you recommend for best prices? (Taiwan, Hongkong, Shenzhen or Korea, maybe Malaysia or Singapore?

Hi! Jestine, I didn't know that you had been to Taichung before and that is the place I intend to go because it is an electronic center. And I don't even know the electronic center is located in Taichung. Before that it was in Taipei. Thanks for the pictures, all the best Ruben.

          Hi Ruben,
Thanks for the greeting. Red lights means stand by problem. Check the following:

          1) MCU IC got 5 volt but cannot send out the "On" signal due to the ic itself have problem or the EEPROM IC have corrupted

          2) MCU IC could send out "On" signal but it can’t reach the main power supply section due to bad components in the optoisolator ic and surrounding components problem

          3) On signal can reach the main power supply but main power supply it self have bad components like shorted secondary diodes, bad power ic and etc.

          4) There are shorted components in the secondary side like inverter board/ mainboard and etc

          5) The DC supply input to the MCU/EEPROM IC may be improper. Make sure the DC supply is good.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and family too.

          Jestine
