Yes, dear! The IC was working. It was not changed. I have given the number for the sake of information to the readers if they get a similar light. They can save the trouble of removing the IC to read the number. Another hope was that experts in this forum could fetch the datasheet, like they have done in a few cases before.

Hi friend! But if we reduce the LEDs, the voltage would be higher and it would fail soon. The capacitor dropping circuit used is based on the current drawn by the load. That's my opinion!

Because the number clearly is not indicating anything useful to find the right datasheet that describes this component.
