Too many of to days techs are box swapped and never look to see how or why something failed. I just repaired a dryer board where the paid tech told the customer to replace the board. She bought a new dryer instead. I took the unit home found a cold solder connection on the board and now have a good dryer. The other tech never looked at the board. Hench the new mindset for repairs. BTW I'm a old tube tech.
