Yes, that would be tricky! After I heated the digitizer up, I would also put some alcohol around the edge to help weaken the adhesive.

The main concern is to remove the digitiser without breaking it yourself!

The number one problem that I see with tablets is busted digitizers. So far none of the busted digitizers has damaged the LCD screens. I am getting pretty good at replacing digitizers!

I've done some research and it turns out that Suranga did an article on a Singer TV repair.

It does seem that they are hard to get parts for aftermarket. It might be worth contacting Suranga to see where he located parts. I believe that he ended up using genuine parts.
