How about sharing your experience in DVD player problems with "No Disc Error"? Tried changing DVD disk, still disk error. Tried cleaning the lens with DVD cleaner kit, still got No Disc Error. I love some tips from you guys before I will go to my mom's house to fix her unit..

Thanks for the artical on open close issue in Tray ,

you can also check the resistance of the motor , in good working sets will show you 12 to 15 ohms and in bad ones it will be less than 10 Ohms.
