Hi Rudi,
I don't remember where I got that schematic. You can probably google 555 timer circuits and look for one for audio.

I have an audio circuit on my large breadboard controlled by a 555 IC that I use to test speakers with to verify that they work. My great nieces love to push the buttons to make sounds and light LED's.
