Yes it can be capacitor or it also can be a bad backlight. If all the output voltages are good then suspect either the inverter board or a bad backlight.

Hi!

I don't have any photo of my problem, but it's very simple (I think).

I've an LG 1730S monitor that have a "blink" problem. When I turn it on, it shows the image but rapidly gets black. If I disconnect it from the VGA and wait about 15 seconds at least, it works after plugging it again. It sound like a capacitor. Do you have any advice of where to look?

Hi Aji,

The best is to use back the original part number. Yes this is a mosfet built into an ic. Sorry i can't get this part from my country and i normally salvage from junk lcd monitors.
