Good job, Yogesh!
The use of a thin PCB trace as fuse (to save cost) is a very common practice in CFL bulbs and LED Drivers etc.. Suggest you to add a fuse to the repaired LED Driver so that it will not cause a fire to your friend's house if the driver encounter a short circuit a second time.

you are right Albert,

In branded Laptop adapters Most of the time i found same type of fault. there is some shorted or open circuit component with burned traces on primary side but fuse is intact.
