If I were you, I would have checked all the components in and around audio IC, to obviate the chance of any leaky components.   The set is likely to have different audio modes, controlled through uController.  That should also be checked!  Some questions to customer like how this happened, when and what did they do immediately prior to it etc. can provide some clue.  In all probability, the set might come back or go to someone else soon!]]></description>
