The tv is for a village church and I didn't want to put any financial burden on her,in the light of purchasing new leď strips.So l did the repair without any financial cost.Have a nice day.

Thanks for your observation on super glue,I also envisaged such future problem on use of this glue,perhaps 4 minutes glue maybe better.Well as you said time will tell.

a very good job on the repair and thanks for sharing. one comment i could say about this is if the LED diffusers are not put back togther the right away it will still be displayed on the panel. in my humble opinion all the LED should be replaced with new ones but i said before you did a good job gluing the diffusers back on the right way and I am sure it was a lot of work doing that. have a blessed day brother.

Fixing this 48 inch 125 Watt tv without breaking the screen or the flexprints was a risky job on its own. And gluing all 68 led diffusers correctly back with superglue another task you managed perfectly too!
Let's hope it will last for a very long time because repairs like these are never much fun!

Excellent job and unique problem! Your way of self-learning is also laudable!
While refixing the reflectors, we should ensure that they are fixed in proper positions, without which the focus might not be proper and light diffusion would not be even.

Very good. I have see this symptom in the field and know what the issue is but have never had the pleasure of remediating one. I often wondered if superglue (cyanoacrylate) was okay to use for the job. If it wae optically clear enough, if it could withstand the heat of the LEDs and if it would darkerln from said heat over time. Guess time will tell!
