Excellent repair, Parasuraman - you have great patience! These are nice amplifiers and so to replace the output section with an STK module would have been a shame, so I'm glad you were able to fix it in the end.

good job on the repair and i bet it was time consuming and I hope you get paid for your well done job here. yes, there are a lot of fake parts out there. recently I ordered the part 2QR2280Z IC's and the 20 of them them were all shorted although it says new on the package. I conntacted the seller and so far, he is not repsonding so I made a complain on ALi express about it and so far nothing is being done about it so I put this seller on the black list and spread the new about him.. have a blessed day

Yes, I am sure that this is a terrible unresolved issue, we all have to face! You are lucky to have got a refund! Here in our area, there is no guarantee! We have to buy what is available at our own risk!

Yes, Parasuraman...quite frstrating the IC fake chip problem.
I just ordered 4 IC chips from a regular reliable supplier, in case of some fake, but all 4 were fakes, supplier refunded, but the time wasted is more important.
