Pro repair that indeed involves a lot of time to fix the backlight panel by new Led strips. Recently I tried to fix the backlight of a second hand 25 inch HP by removing the CCFL lamps and replacing them by Led strips. Sadly the China Led backlight Buck driver board with on it a DF6113 chip, a 15N10 mosfet and a SS210 all went up in smoke. The board with DF6113 was used without OVP and decent Over-current protection like the specs in its datasheet required and without the right component values, which probably explained why it got up in smoke and it got very hot the moment it was used. Luckily the backlight leds are still fine. And I will try to fix the driver board that according to its manufacturer/designer should have worked from 10V upto 30V DC. But that was hard to believe because the DF6113 chip is only to be used upto 24V!
