Loose Contact In Power ON Button Caused Dead Condition In Mr Light Phantom 32

As you might have noticed, this TV seems to be in the habit of visiting me often. My records show that it visited me first in November, 21, second in May 22 and now in December, 22. This time, it was brought to me in dead condition. I was a bit disappointed to have to work on same set again and again.
But it belonged to my colleague in the hospital and he always turns to me when it comes to any such service. I opened the set and looked for the problem creator. The power supply output was ok. Then, on a visual inspection, I found that the power switch button was torn and the switch had got dislodged from its place creating a short. As the switch fell off, when I was checking, I could not take a snap of it.
Then, when I powered the TV, it came on. So, the problem indeed was on the power switch. I replaced it with a suitable switch which had long knob so that it came in line with the rest.
The TV was found working very well on testing and I gave it to my wife to watch her usual channels for two consecutive days to confirm that there was no other problem in the TV.
Mission accomplished very easily and satisfaction gathered to its collection.

I guess that not many engineers can say that they fixed a tv that already was defect two times in the past before?
Obviously these sets are intensely used in the hospital.

does the TV has a remote contorl? if it does that will take the load of that tiny power button. have a blessed day

Yes, it has a remote. But that was not working because of this jam.
