I have an experienced about BIOS up-gradation and i want to express my advise from your permission as your student.
Iam experienced in upgrading, which had destructed my client PC main board. ACtually, there is no need to be upgraded Bios because, its harmfull for your computer might be.

As my experience, Windows only need to be upgraded by Patches, and service packs softwares not boards in general.
Although, Bios Softwares are available in order to upgrade PC boards but its not an easy to upgrade, because author and manufacturer wont cover warranty in this regards, so therefore, its upto the user responsibility.

As a result. my advise to the users and technicians including me please do not try to upgrade pc bios, because motherboard may be dead without any reason and not recoverable easily.
