Probably the capacitance was reduced and ESR was worsened, I always wonder why they design boards like that, placing the e-caps very near to heat sources - these caps get damaged from heat and this shorts their life...

Check the around 240V to 300V DC on mains big capacitor if it is OK then check for +B voltages around 90 to 140V DC voltages on H-out Transistor on collector.
